Small Life Lessons

Here are small life lessons that I decided to write down because I can't hold that much knowledge in my head.

1. At an intersection where you have the option to turn left or go straight, it is best not to race for the green light. Instead, keep the pace you're going at and you'll know which lane will get you home faster in time.

2. Never invest in penny-stocks. They aren't worth it. You're not going to be rich overnight. Buy stocks from companies that you know and trust. Also, don't listen to people's financial predictions. Make your own damn opinion.

3. Don't say things that you know to be false. I got this one from Jordan Peterson. I'm not saying I agree with everything the man says, but he has a point. There is no way you can keep track of all your lies. It's easier to just tell the truth. Believe me, I've tried.

4. Don't do mind-numbingly boring work. I made the decision to do the bare minimum at my boring job (until the contract was over, I needed the money); it was the best decision I took all summer.

5. Don't watch too much pornography. Just don't. It'll mess you up.

6. Learn to say no, and use this skill. You don't owe anything to anyone unless you're in debt.
